Shikvan social multipurpose society(reg no.gad/000033/2021) knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2020, our Team members realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently,effectively and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Shikvan NGO at gadchiroli in maharashtra.

It is a India based, volunteer run, non-profit, non-religious, non- political organization working to ensure health, education and rural development for underprivileged children and women in India.
Why the organization name (Shikvan Samajik Bahuddesiya Sansta) is different from its URL (www.Shikvan.org)?
Our NGO name is Shikvan, which is very difficult to remember for our online visitors. We want our website URL simple, short, easy to remember as well as relate to our organization’s name so thats why we choose this.

Our vision is to ensure that every underprivileged child attains his or her right to education, health and opportunity .

What does Shikvan NGO do with my one time donation?
Unless you specify which project(s) you wish the money to go to, Shikvan NGO will put your donation in a general fund for either the women empowerment, program or other projects such as child education and school construction. We do not use any portion of your donation to cover our operational expenses.
Does Shikvan NGO staff get paid?
No. All directors and staff members are volunteers. Despite our heavy academic and professional commitments, we donate our time and energy because we strongly believe that together we can make a real difference to improve the life of children and women .
